We know flexible working is important to you, and it is important to us too. The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Finance team aim for around 2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings but again, are flexible on this. The role could also be based at either our Bracknell or Victoria campus based on your preference.
The salary range for this role is set at £33,800 - £50,700.
This position is a permanent contract.
About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our FP&A team here at the John Lewis Partnership as a Finance Analyst.
The role of the FP&A team is to drive business performance and deliver the financial outcomes set in the Partnership Plan. The FP&A Analyst will have responsibility for the production and delivery of accurate and high quality planning, reporting and analysis at a Partnership level across the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow statements for the Partnership as a whole, or in deep dive analysis into specific business areas. All with a focus on the ‘so what’ in order to drive financial performance.
Through working directly with the business and stakeholders in Finance, you will help the Executive, Board and Senior Finance Leaders understand their financial targets, how they are performing against these targets and implications for future performance. You will also develop solutions and make recommendations to improve financial performance and mitigate risks based on the financial outputs produced.
You’ll have a continuous improvement mindset, building connections across the wider Commercial Finance team to improve process efficiency and effectiveness across planning, reporting and analysis. You will be curious about new technology and able to incorporate into your areas of responsibility to improve process and insight delivered.
