These are our first steps to building a fully in-house accounting team and as such, would enable you to build your own team to manage and grow in the future.
The Business:
The role is within the office of Raybloc (X-ray Protection) Ltd, which is situated in Willenhall, West Midlands — five minutes from junction 10 of the M6.
The company has served customers such as the NHS, construction builders, dentists and vets for over twenty years. Providing them with the highest quality products on the market— such as doors and frames, windows, and X-ray screens.
For the past twenty years, the business has grown each year. It's the company's vision to supply equipment to every hospital in the World. We are on track to achieve that. Therefore the business is very stable and secure and will continue to grow, and we need more members to join us on the journey and be a part of the growing team.
Your Role:
Your role would be to take on the role of accounts and financial manager for Raybloc. This would include liaising with suppliers and customers in a prompt, confident, yet friendly manner to meet all the accounting needs of Raybloc and our stakeholders.
We require the Financial Manager to manage the basic day-to-day accounts, invoicing, payroll and bookkeeping but also be a part of the strategic decision-making in the business. Therefore your role would also be to manage and plan for the future of Raybloc by managing budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
You will not be doing your role alone. You will be working alongside directors, company financial coaches, accountants, tax planners, and financial advisors to develop business financials in the future. This role is a fast-developing role that as the business expands will also grow you in your career too as we move towards the company's international goals.

Accounting

- -Gross profit / net profit management -- collaborating with Raybloc team, direct cost suppliers and overhead services
Note: Attitude to thinking outside the box and managing the growth of the performance measures will lead to advancement in this role. This will be results driven and dependent on the growth of all performance measures.
Desirable Requirements & Experience:
- AAT (and higher preferable)
- Previous experience of 5 years or above in Accounting (Open to discussion depending on capabilities)
- Experience in the manufacturing industry

What You Get:
The role is within the office, it does not require any site travel, so there will be no working away, meaning your days will be consistent.
Payment is £35,000 -£40,000 per annum.
