We’re on the lookout for a Finance Manager to join our amazing team as we expand to new markets and territories.

Your main tasks:
Financial Management
- Lead and manage day-to-day accounting processes including accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, payroll, tax and bookkeeping
- Manage an effective and compliant month-end closing process
- Manage cash flow and optimize working capital to ensure financial stability
- Prepare and manage all periodic financial reporting; year-end statutory financial statements, monthly and quarterly management reports
- Coordinate with external consultant for timely and accurate tax filing and R&D claims
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives
- Any other tasks as may be reasonably required in the capacity of Finance Manager
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and manage the company's financial plan and budget, including regular forecasting and reporting on financial performance
- Provide financial analysis and insights to the executive team, helping to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business performance
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting, decision- making and fundraising
- Produce KPIs and generating meaningful insights to support business decision making
- Lead various scale-up finance projects to support the growth of the business
- Build strong relationships and liaise with external stakeholders including investors, banks and third party advisors
- Operate as a trusted business partner to the CFO, board and investors, assisting the growth strategy in commercial decision making and operational projects
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s accounting records and financial systems in line with reporting standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including taxation and statutory reporting
(HMRC and Companies House)
- Design accounting policies, internal controls and governance framework to mitigate financial risks
- Work with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve strategic goals.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA) with minimum of 13-15 years of relevant experience
- Experience in independently managing the full spectrum of the finance function preferably in a senior finance role
- Strong technical skills including sound IFRS knowledge
- Knowledge of UK taxation laws and regulatory requirements is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team
- Experience with a tech startup or within a high-growth environment is a plus
