Job Description
- Responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of all day-to-day transactions
- Preparation of month end accounting entries
- Preparation of payroll instructions and verification of completed payroll from external provider
- Complete the month end process, including all balance sheet reconciliations to TB
- Preparation of the month-end finance pack for the Group
- Preparation of KPIs and other data for the Monthly Business Review meetings
- Management of the full accounts receivable and accounts payable cycles
- Management of the fixed asset registers and monthly depreciation charges
- Managing accurate and timely HMRC and other statutory submissions.
- Assist HoF with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for Divisional companies
- Respond to enquiries from external auditors.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong Excel skills essential
- Good understanding of all basic accounting functions required
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail is vital
- Ability to work to tight deadlines is a must.
