Junior (0-2 PQE) Banking & Finance Associate required to join this leading Top 50 Firm from their offices in the City of London.

The Role
Opportunity for a Banking & Finance Associate 0-2 PQE to join this high-quality Top 50 law firm at their City of London office (hybrid):
This banking and finance department is internationally recognised, operating from offices across the UK, the firm is expanding their ambitious team across all aspects of financing.
This leading Banking team punches considerably above its weight in all aspects of its banking practice with transaction values generally between £20m and £500m.
They have the capacity to deal with all instructions, from the largest cross border syndicated transactions through to bilateral lending.
The work will involve:
- Managing your own transactions for a variety of clients and support Partners with larger transactions.
- Participating in business development opportunities and help to strengthen relationships with clients.
- Focus on financial implications and targets at a team and group level
- Provide an excellent service to clients by working closely with colleagues from across the UK in both the Banking team and other specialisms.
Requirements:
- A Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales with 0-2 PQE and good experience in banking and finance transactions.
- A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines.
- Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development, and an appetite for keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in your practice area and sector focus
- Able to understand your client's business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
- An ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to our collaborative culture.
