Job description
Inclusive Consulting are excited to be partnering with our longstanding retail client in their search for a technically-minded Finance Manager who is ready to develop their commercial exposure.
Based in Barnsley, our client is an established name in their field with a multi-million-pound turnover. Due to continued growth and employee development, they are now looking for a newly qualified accountant to join them on their journey.
You will be reporting directly to the Group FC who is approachable, enthusiastic and genuinely cares about the progression of their team. You will also have supervisory responsibilities for a small team of transactional finance professionals. There will be ample opportunity to proactively get involved with project work.
This opportunity would be ideal for someone who has recently qualified in practice and is now looking to diversify their skillset in a supportive, encouraging and progressive environment.
The company are forward-thinking in their approach and offer a hybrid working policy of 2 days working from home each week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Month end Management accounts prep & review
- Balance sheet controls and reconciliation
- Full ownership of: Audit, Statutory Accounts, Businesses Taxes, VAT
- Budget preparation
- Foreign Currency
- Payments authorisation and control - Purchase Ledger / Payroll
- Fixed Asset & Capex Management
- Customer rebate calculations and control
- Driving improvements in management reporting
- Government reporting re: Gender pay gap, Payment Practices, PNS Surveys,
Key Attributes:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Excellent technical accounting skills
- Drive and ambition to progress and diversify your skills
- An approachable and collegiate ethos
- Must be comfortable and confident dealing with Senior Management
Package:
Salary of up to £50k DOE
Up to 15% bonus
