A glimpse at the role
As Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for making sure HDY Agency's money matters are in order.
What you’ll be getting your hands on
Managing and assisting with the monthly reporting, budgeting and re-forecast processes with the SLT (Senior Leadership Team)
Managing debtors and updating the Senior Leadership Team on outstanding debt
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, budgets, forecasting, and other transactions via Synergist and Xero
Maintain and improve financial policies and procedures for the company and identify and address account discrepancies
Monitoring cash flow/debt for the business and producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
Managing relationship with the Accountants to ensure nsuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues
Managing staff pensions
Looking for cost-reduction opportunities and strategies to minimise financial risk to the business
Developing relationships with external contacts such as Accountants, auditors, solicitors and HM Revenue & Customs.
Acting as the business’s main point of contact with the Board level Accountant /3rd party financial partners
Who you’ll get to work with...
You’ll sit in the agency's Operations Team, and work closely with the Managing Director, Co-Founders, Senior Leadership Team and Financial Director.
What we’re looking for…
- You have 4+ years experience as a Finance Manager from a marketing agency environment
- You have experience with agency timesheets, agency billing systems and working with client service and delivery teams to optimise our billing strategy
- You aren't afraid to make strategic recommendations to improve the trading and profitability of the agency
- You have experience presenting financial data in an engaging and accessible way
- Experience with international trading (US specifically) is not required but would be nice to have
