Job description
Local Unit & Position Description:
Using artificial intelligence-backed technology and data quality expertise, this innovative data assurance company helps healthcare providers reduce risks to patient safety, deliver care more efficiently and bring down waiting times for elective treatment.
MBI tackles the growing challenge of patient data being imprecisely recorded in healthcare providers’ electronic patient record systems. This can cause the timely treatment of entire cohorts of patients to be missed, unnecessary appointments with medical professionals to be scheduled, and patients to become lost in the healthcare system.
MBI gives healthcare providers an accurate and quality-assured overview of who is waiting for treatment, when, and where. The company’s LUNA platform generates complete oversight of an organization’s elective care performance. It visualizes the status of individual patient journeys through their care pathway and uses AI to rapidly scan clinical documents to uncover inaccuracies about patients’ status in their treatment. The company also deploys expertise and capacity to cleanse large batches of inaccurate patient data in electronic health record systems and reduce large booking backlogs. Teams of advisors provide strategic advice on elective care performance, recovery planning, organizational change, and technology implementation.
Equal Opportunity Statement:
A newly created role in a growing business, focussing on improving reporting and internal accounting processes. Working with the directors to integrate MBI into the DNV Group. A great opportunity to have a real impact on the company as it develops.
Position Qualifications:
- Strong educational background within Finance (BA or MA level) or part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Good hands on accounting knowledge
- Bright, commercial and inquisitive mind
- Positive attitude, customer centric mind-set and willingness to go the extra mile to meet organizational goals
- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
- Good English language skills (both oral & written)
