Salary Range: £30,000 - £35,000 (plus benefits) per annum

If so, we are looking for a friendly, focused and trusted individual to join our finance team at Angel Solutions for an initial period of 6 months with the option to extend at the end of this term.
Working closely with, and reporting to the Finance Director, you will be focused on managing all aspects of the finance function and financial data input.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work both onsite and remotely, so you should live within a commutable distance of Liverpool City Centre.

Education & Qualifications
Essential
- Proven track record in a finance role, with a minimum of 2 years relevant and current experience
- A qualification in accounts (AAT or similar)
- Experience of Sage 50 Accounts
- Experience of cloud-based accounting systems (preferably Xero) and integration of supporting packages
Desirable
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience of CRM programs
Day-to-Day Role
As Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the finance function and ensuring financial operations run smoothly.
Duties include:
- Responsibility for month end processing and balance sheet reconciliations including journal processing for depreciation of fixed assets and income allocation.
- Supporting the FD in preparing up to date financials in a timely manner
- Ensuring all HMRC reporting requirements are dealt with including PAYE, VAT returns, P11D submissions and payments
- Procesing and maintaining the sales ledger with the support of the team â ensuring customer payments are received within agreed terms
- Processing and maintaining purchase ledger, reviewing and authorising supplier payments
- Managing the expenses process ensuring month end audit on documentation is complete
- Payroll processing for 50 staff and administering expenses and benefits
- Conducting cost analysis on a monthly basis against budgets and looking to identify and improve financial efficiencies
- Streamlining processes and looking for ways to improve efficiency within the finance function
