On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager for a contract lasting until the end of the year (with the potential to extend) based in Bristol (2 days per week in office).
Purpose of the Role:
An established member of the team has secured a secondment to an internal project so we want to find someone to join our mini team of 8 within the wider GFS Accounting Operation team. The teams’ responsibilities cover reconciliations for several different areas, including Cash settlement reconciliations, Payroll, and Fixed Assets.
As an Assistant Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
- Completing various month end finance reconciliations (for both SAP and Fusion nominals).
- Resolving any issues identified, which will involve talking to a range of stakeholders and providing timely and accurate responses and working with different teams and business areas.
- Supporting the more junior members of the team in daily tasks and helping to resolve differences.
- Working with the team manager to plan cover and workloads ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within SLAs.
- Completing daily reconciliations, generating ledger, source system adjustments and investigation of anomalies.
What we require from the candidate:
- Qualified or part qualified accountant.
- Team leader experience.
- Experience with reconciliations.
- Great attention to detail.
- An ability to multi-task and prioritise work accordingly.
- A good working knowledge of excel.
- An investigative mentality.
- Can communicate well (both written and verbal) with colleagues of all levels.
Lloyds Banking Group will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
