This is a great opportunity for a Finance Manager looking to work in a truly exciting, expanding organisation. Our client has recently seen a lot of growth and expansion and is continuing to grow. Reporting to the European Finance Director, the Finance Manager will play a key role in the financial accounting across several European legal entities. The role is mainly based at the Farnborough office, with the possibility of working some days from home. The Finance Manager will work closely with both the UK and US based finance teams.
The role will also require project management and finance transformation skills as our client want to enhance its internal processes and governance.

Responsibilities:
- Being the go-to person for any Finance Transformation projects.
- To ensure adherence to SOX controls and other internal controls.
- Assisting the US Consolidations team with analysis for quarterly reporting.
- Month-end close activities: journal entries, producing management accounts etc.
- Reviewing and assisting the team with balance sheet reconciliations.
- Cashflow forecasting, reviewing payment runs and authorising payments.
- Co-ordinating the preparation of the annual statutory accounts.
- Dealing with audit requests from the external auditors.
- Reviewing VAT return submissions and filings.
- Collaborating with the FP&A team to assist with variance analysis.
- Assisting with any special projects and ad-hoc reporting requirements as and when they may arise.
Requirements:
- You will be a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant, preferably holding a bachelor’s degree in finance.
- You should feel confident working in a dynamic fast paced atmosphere and be calm under pressure.
- You will be an engaging individual with a can-do attitude, who is comfortable working on your own as well as part of team.
- You will be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work on own initiative.
- Experience of working with SOX controls will also be highly beneficial. The role will also require knowledge of treasury, payroll, intercompany transactions, and tax.
- The Finance Manager will be a trusted business partner for the Sales and Operations teams.

Beneficial:
- Familiarity with Oracle accounting system and OneStream reporting suite.
- Detailed knowledge of VAT (UK and European).
