We currently have 12-month intern opportunities within our local Financial Controller or Commercial Manager team, working from our site at Hull, which manufactures offshore wind turbine blades for projects within the UK
Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend an Assessment Centre on at Hull University and the candidate will required to start on August 2023.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
  • Monthly management reports and slides summarising financial performance
  • Month End reporting support
  • Budgeting/Forecasting
  • Variance analysis – Forecast/Budget versus Actuals
  • Cost Controlling
  • Invoice queries and resolution
  • Cash Collection
  • Accounting Ledger maintenance within SAP
  • Ad-hoc reporting requirements
What you need to make a difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
  • You have achieved/studying towards a Finance or Business-related degree with a minimum 2:1 expected
  • Ability to communicate within a team and across all levels, including customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to set priorities and manage to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work methodically and independently where applicable
  • Numerate, and proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
