ROLE TITLE: Finance Graduate Trainee
REPORTS TO: Finance Director
DEPARTMENT: Finance
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
This position will be responsible for providing additional support to the Finance function. It is anticipated, this role will develop to have responsibility for key accounting and reporting processes and for provision of financial analysis support to the commercial departments as the person (a) gains experience and (b) progresses along the route towards a formal accounting qualification.
The role will be expected to contribute to all aspects of financial management to ensure high quality information is provided to stakeholders and work effectively to meet customer requirements by ensuring information is delivered efficiently within agreed time frames.

You’ll need to be a great teammate, and able to accurately and confidently apply the technical skillset learned in your studies. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include but not limited too;
- Gaining and demonstrating a strong working understanding, knowledge and ability in accounting and reporting processes.
- Assisting the Finance Director in responding to information requests from both internal (local and global) and external (for example Suppliers, HMRC, VAT, Customs & Excise, Auditors etc.) customers and colleagues.
- Prepares reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review. Ensures that accurate records are kept by standard practices. Supports the budget planning process, forecasts future cash flows, provides periodic financial analysis.
- Focusing on the improvement and development of the accounting function (SAP, reporting tools, information interfaces)
- An additional resource cross collaborating across the Finance function to be utilised in the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other finance functions or projects
YOUR PROFILE
- Graduate with minimum 2:2 in a finance degree - Required
- 3 A levels between A* - C - Required
- CIMA Qualified - Preferred
- Experience in a financial position within a pharmaceutical organisation - Preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Required
- Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Required
- Good Analytical skills - Preferred
