Are you an ambitious graduate looking to launch your finance career? Embark on the first step towards becoming a qualified Accountant whilst gaining valuable commercial experience with Howdens, the UK’s leading Trade Kitchen supplier. Join us as a Finance Graduate based within our site in Howden, East Yorkshire and we will support your study toward achieving your CIMA qualification in addition to providing you with on-the-job training and mentoring from our experienced finance team.
Our three-year finance graduate programme will provide you with a clear and defined role with distinct responsibilities of your own to focus on as well as enable you to gain insight into our commercial and operations finance functions as part of your annual rotation. You will also work on other finance projects, which will give you further opportunities for personal growth and development.
What do I need to be eligible?
To be eligible for the programme, you’ll need to have a Bachelor’s Degree – a finance-specific degree is not vital but a confirmed interest in pursuing a career in finance is crucial. We will also expect you to demonstrate attributes such as:
- Confident communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Drive and resilience.
- Customer focus with great problem-solving skills.
