Job purpose:
As a Finance Executive at Bruntwood, you will have a varied role supporting our Asset Management, Project Management, Financial Reporting and Financial Accounting teams as you develop in your role. As part of the role, the company will support you in undertaking the CIMA qualification.

What you’ll be doing:
- Preparation and review of the weekly cash forecast, including challenging operational budget holders on key assumptions. Presentation of the weekly cash forecast to Head of Group Reporting and CFO summarising key movements in actuals and forecast.
- Production of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Responsibility for group wide postings for interest, amortised fees, share capital and reserves.
- Ensuring that financial controls across the Group are robust and maintained.
- Assisting with the production of monthly and quarterly consolidated reporting for the group.
- Assisting with preparation of consolidated quarterly cash plan, including version to version reconciliations.
- Assisting with year-end audit queries where relevant.
- Assisting with any ad hoc financial analysis, in particular variance analysis for the group cash forecast, management accounts and business plan.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for a smaller business entity within the Group.
- Assisting in the preparation of year-end financial statements and statutory accounts.
- Monitoring and administering online supplier payments for Bruntwood USA.
What’s important to us:
- A real passion for developing a career within finance is crucial to us
- A degree or qualification within a finance based subject would be advantageous
- A good grasp on Excel with the ability to create reports, ideally look ups and pivot tables would be advantageous
- An instinct to want to do more, to take on more projects and progress within the role to take on more responsibility
