Finance Director - Kaplan Professional UK (KPUK)
Location: Hybrid working - home and our offices near London Bridge
Salary: £115,000 - £130,000 per annum
We are looking for a Finance Director to join our team.
The Finance Director will help the senior leadership teams to grow revenues in the various business units by providing insight into where strong margin is to be gained, and where revenue streams are no longer attractive. The Finance Director will also help the business to balance revenue growth against a need to manage risks and meet a range of annual organisation goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and collaborative Finance Director or Head of Finance, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

About You
To be considered for the role you will need to be proactive and collaborative, with the gravitas and relationship building skills to insert yourself into this new role within an established business structure.
You will have/be:
A qualified accountant with significant PQE
A technically strong finance professional with a track record of varied accounting work in an international group
A track record of building, retaining and motivating high performance finance teams in a hybrid working environment
Deep knowledge and experience of internal control concepts
Experience of and strong ability in solving accounting issues
Experience of finance system improvement
Strong work ethic, with ability to work efficiently with a strong results orientation
High level of business acumen and understanding of financial issues
Excellent communication skills, with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Ability to analyse and make recommendations
Influencing and project management skills to drive through key process changes
Experience of apprenticeship funding (desirable)
Knowledge of US GAAP and SOx (desirable)
