The role is flexible in terms of working from the office, various locations throughout the County and home working.
The Finance department has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in finance business partnering and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supporting workplace.
Based within the Management Accounting/Business Partnering team, you will work closely with all areas of the business to assist with helping budget holders/heads of departments achieve the force objectives.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing support and challenge to help the business achieve its targets.
- Provide support to budget managers in the monitoring of their financial performance.
- Assist in business development and business case review.
What you will bring:
- Part/ fully qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
- Experience of budget setting and management accounting.
- Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills.
