A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to play a key role in supporting Personal Lines (PL), with driving the tactical and strategic performance of the PL business.
It’s a phenomenal time to be a part of our successful PL business, the area is strategically critical for Aviva and there are exciting future growth plans! This role could be ideal for you, if you have FP&A skills, able to work collaboratively across many different business and Finance teams and have the initiative and drive to solve problems and drive great outcomes for PL.
You will build a relationship and work closely with the Managing Director along with the wider leadership team within PL to assistance with understanding performance/trends, facilitate leadership meetings and performance risks. In addition to be provided with the prospects to enhance your skills and experience. Experience with PL line isn’t essential; however, General Insurance experience is highly desirable.
A bit about the job:
As the Finance Business Partner, you will manage PL top-down forecasting, planning and link to strategy and roadmap as we target profit improvement, growth, and simplification as well as optimal customer outcomes. Personal Lines trading and performance reporting are important in the role to secure clarity on key variances along with briefing the Managing Director, Senior Leadership Team with identifying and driving strategy forwards.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Good understanding of General Insurance – desirable
Track record of producing insights and analysis that will drive and change business outcomes for P&L and drivers of premium and profit
Ability to work collaboratively across different teams to understand performance and get things done
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal – inquisitive in nature, an independent, self-starter who wants to take ownership of their work and drive great outcomes for PL

Salary between £60,000 - £90,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
