Job Description
As a Project Manager you will lead and deliver projects that enhance functionality and reporting provided by existing corporate reporting platforms. In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery following the Project Life Cycle. You will partner with key business and technology partners to analyze business/operational processes, identify business and operational requirements, oversee technology build, manage user testing, and coordinate solution implementation. The Project Manager is accountable for providing senior management comprehensive project updates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day maintenance of project plans, metrics, risk/issues as well as development and occasional presentation of project status reports / updates to the organization and senior management
- Solicit business/stakeholder requirements and co-ordinate with Technology, Client and Program Teams in planning and executing the end to end Quality Assurance for product enhancements
- Operate as Program Manager helping to keep projects on track, escalating issues, and tracking dependencies for critical projects.
- Ensure all day to day cross application support queries are dealt with within required SLAs and escalate issues to the project manager
- Drive production support processes for CIB DP&S systems and tools and educate the team on the impacts to clients
- Plan and identify training requirements and ensure ownership of standard operating procedures and Issue logs
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity policies are adhered and certified annually
Job requirements:
- Experience in user/customer support, business analysis, project management, or other comparable tasks preferable
- High level of client / customer focus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn the process and it's nuances and propose and execute solution to make the process efficient
- Good team player, ability to work in an Agile team and follow common good practices
- Strong time management skills required to meet the deadlines/cutoffs
- Eager to learn more about technology and how it can be applied to solve business needs
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Knowledge of Alteryx, Xceptor and related automation and data transformation tools
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visio
- Strong knowledge of Business Objects in creating / modifying reports and performing data analysis preferable, comparable Business Intelligence report development acceptable as a transferrable skill
