Roles and responsibilities
To work as part of the Engagement Finance Champions team, supporting the capabilities across a range of areas, including:
Develop an understanding of the business being supported, proactively learning about Finance processes.
Support the business with process and administration queries and requests which are outside of the scope of EXL and other Finance support teams, using the team's workflow management system to log and track queries through to resolution.
Review liquidity and WIP reporting, highlighting and following up on risk and billing opportunities, and highlight Engagement Leader / Engagement Manager underperformance, where necessary.
Work with Key Stakeholders to ensure Engagement Partners and Engagement Managers fully understand the lock-up cycle and how to deliver against their lock-up targets.
Meet with Engagement Partners and Engagement Managers, as required, to discuss billing actions.
Help to ensure Finance processes and policies are adhered to, escalating deviation where necessary.
Support compliance and education around relevant finance-related processes.
Be an advocate for change programmes delivered by Finance / KBS, including automation tools, self-service, standardisation, and any other changes.
Keep team Knowledgebases and process documentation up to date.
Take ownership for own performance and identify areas for improvement and development.
