Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is recruiting a FINANCE ASSISTANT for the office in Glasgow to provide an efficient financial processing capability within the organisation.
The role will provide operational support to the finance team.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FULL-TIME ROLE OF 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK. WE CAN NOT CONSIDER PART-TIME FOR THIS PARTICULAR ROLE.
What will I do?
- Review, create and issue Purchase Orders on Sage Intacct Accounting system
- Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements
- Raise customer sales invoices
- Review and approve employee expenses claims
- Undertake credit control activities, chase outstanding balances and ensure invoices are paid
- Allocate payments and receipts to supplier and customer accounts
- Process company credit card transactions
- Prepare month end journals
What are we looking for?
- Good experience in a similar role with a high volume of invoices and queries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience with Sage Intacct is desirable but not essential
- Attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
