Finance Officer
37 Hours per week
Salary £22,400 pro rata (after satisfactory completion of probationary period)
Job Purpose:
- To provide financial & administrative support for the Senior Finance Officer and Assistant Business and Central Services Manager by maintaining and recording Leeway's Financial transactions and systems
- Keeping accurate records of rent accounts, housing benefit transactions and report, accordingly, assisting in producing financial reports
- Arranging, monitoring and keeping accurate records of staff training
Essential Requirements:
- AAT level 3 or equivalent ( or working towards)
- Experience of invoicing and making payments
- Experience of maintaining rent accounts
- Experience of organising staff training and keeping accurate records
- Experience of access databases
- Good Microsoft Word & Excel IT Skills
- Good Organisational Skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Experience of working within the Charity Sector
- Ability to meet deadlines and work accurately within a busy office environment
- Full UK driving license, business insurance and ability to travel across Norfolk
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of using Sage Accounts
- Experience of preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Experience of reconciling bank accounts
- Awareness of domestic abuse and the effects on adults and children.
