Finance Officer
21 Hours
Salary £22,400 pro rata
Job Purpose:
- To provide financial & administrative support for the Senior Finance Officer and Business and Central Services Manager
- To maintain, process and record all financial transactions for Leeway on Sage
- To keep accurate records and report accordingly
- Assisting in producing financial reports or projected costings as required.
Essential Requirements:
- AAT level 3 or equivalent ( or working towards)
- Experience of invoicing
- Experience in processing staff expenses
- Experience of cheque writing and/or making payments
- Experience recording Income & Expenditure
- Good Microsoft Word and Excel IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Experience of working within the charity sector
- Ability to meet deadlines and work accurately within a busy office environment
- A firm understanding of Credit Control
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of using Sage Accounts
- Experience of preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Experience of reconciling bank accounts
- Awareness of domestic abuse and the effects on adults and children.
