Salary: up to £30,000 + Study Support

2fawcett are recruiting for a finance assistant to join a well established company located in Sheffield on a permanent, full time basis
As the finance assistant, you will be reporting directly into the Finance Director and responsible for maintaining and supporting the accounts function. Our client is seeking a dedicated and career driven individual to join their team and contribute to the continued success.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant
- Preparation of the management accounts
- Daily & Monthly financial analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable
- Cash Collection
- Statement reconciliations
- Reconciliation of perpetual inventory counting (ERP system to actual stock counts)
- Helping ensure the business records accurate stock recording at all times
- Record all purchases and purchase ledger and match with purchase orders
- Manage all invoice queries
- Other ad-hoc administrative tasks
Requirements of the Finance Assistant
- Prepared to complete accounting qualifications with Study Support
- Strong experience in a similar role
- Experience within a Business Environment is advantageous
- Good knowledge of computer accounting packages
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
