A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINANCE ASSISTANT AT THE GANTRY LONDON HOTEL
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Work on accounts receivable, issue invoices, post receipts and provide weekly debtor reports to
- Work on accounts payable, assist with posting invoices, prepare payment runs and perform supplier reconciliations
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations
- Assist with reviewing and posting of expenses
- Prepare daily sales reports
- Support the business by ordering office supplies and ad hoc expenses
- Assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly/yearly accounts
- Assist with other accounting projects as and when needed
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Finance Assistant, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping.
- Good organisational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management skills.
