About us
The LCCOS Library Finance team provides departmental support for over 300 staff within the Library Services department. The LCCOS Library Finance team manages the interaction between Library Services and the Central Finance team facilitating aspects of operational finance administration.
The team is also responsible for the annual budget setting and forecasting for Library Services and UCL Press and plays an active role in supporting budget holders.
About the role
To be responsible for administering the financial transactions within the department. The role holder must ensure these are processed promptly and accurately in accordance to UCL’s Financial Regulations.
They will assist the Finance Manager with the day-to-day, month end and year end duties, through the provision of reports as required. Working in a team to deal with general financial queries in a timely manner.
Key contact for the UCL Press team within Library Services, helping with their financial duties.
Raise Sales Invoices and to ensure income for the Library is coded correctly.
Raising Purchase Orders, interdepartmental transfers, and journals
Record PO Invoices sent to Accounts Payable on specific files
Monitor the shared inbox to ensure that emails are dealt with in a timely manner
This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
Finance Assistant G5, This role is an open-ended contract.
Hybrid Working. This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site .
