Job description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide support to the management of the business by maintaining accurate accounts payable and billing transactional records in respect of the Group companies. All tasks to be carried out efficiently and effectively, in accordance with Walkers' procedures. To assist in the day to day running of the Finance function for the region working alongside the Finance Manager, Head of Finance and Managing Partner.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing of supplier invoices and reconciliation of supplier statements
- Ensure all invoices are correctly addressed and appropriately approved in accordance with budgets
- Assist with production of the monthly billing cycle
- Responding to all billing queries in a timely manner
- Set up of monthly supplier and expense payment batches, standing orders and direct debits
- Analysis and capture of credit card transactions
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager
- Maintain a structured filing system
- Maintain and update procedural documentation accordingly
- Responding to all queries in respect of the above
- The list of activities is not exhaustive and may be amended from time to time depending upon the experience of the successful candidate

Previous experience desirable. Training is provided.

Essential: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional Suite of products 2010
