We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for finance and accounting. You will have experience of processing financial transactions and providing advice and guidance on financial policy and procedure. You will join a small team supporting staff and students across two academic departments.
Educated to A-Level or equivalent you will have a high level of numeracy and a strong commitment to customer service. You will use your excellent organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines to undertake the accurate processing of a wide range of financial transactions.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of University financial administration processes. You will play a key role in ensuring all financial activity meets the University’s Financial Regulations.
As you will be responsible for maintaining the groups’ inbox, processing purchase requisitions, and creating purchase orders. Experience of working with a large financial database, such as SAP would be an advantage.
