Responsibilities within your new role

As the Finance Assistant, your job responsibilities include supporting the management of all databases and finance systems, in accordance with audit and financial requirements. Other duties include processing the finance mailbox, which includes filing/scanning, credit account application forms, and supplier questionnaires. Additionally, the job requires handling payroll processing, supplier/subcontractor invoices, customer invoicing, payment processing, and statement generation. Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements is another key aspect of the role. Finally, the job also involves assisting with VAT, CIS, PAYE, and Corporation Tax returns.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The job requirements include previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of Sage and CIS packages being preferable but not essential. Additionally, sound knowledge of all relevant Microsoft packages is necessary. The job also requires experience working within a fast-paced finance department. Overtime may be required, and a full U.K. driver's license is a must.
