About the role
Job purpose:
To process all income and expenditure in accordance with internal processes of the Finance Department.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be a key player in the smooth running of the finance function and as part of the team you will have responsibility for:
- Processing and banking income and reconciling bank accounts
- Processing purchase ledger invoices – dealing with queries and making supplier payments.
- Processing sales ledger invoices
- Providing daily financial support to all areas of the organisation
- Keeping Gift Aid records up to date and producing information as required
- Accounting for VAT accurately
- Process petty cash and credit card statements
- Assist with month end tasks as required.
The role is office based and will require you to work at St Barnabas House with the opportunity to work remotely one day a week following successful probation.
