We here at Siamo Recruitment are working with a growing and passionate client with a growing finance department keen to engage with a driven Finance Officer that can develop and take ownership within the role.
Reporting into the Finance Manager this role will provide you with a variety of responsibilities allowing you full access to the financial sector.
This Finance Officer vacancy will provide you with purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking, credit control and payroll responsibilities.

This Finance Officer / Assistant role will having the below responsibilities:
- Purchas ledger tasks, analysing suppliers invoices and processing
- Issuing sales invoices
- Processing BACS and bill payment to suppliers
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Preparation and updating of cash flow
- Credit control chasing outstanding payments
- Preparation of accounting reports monthly
- Preparation of end of year accounts
- Preparation, submission and payment of quarterly VAT returns
This Finance Officer / Assistant role requires the below exposure and attributes:
- Previous exposure completing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
- AAT Level 3 Qualified and above
- Payroll processing exposure would be advantageous
- Exposure completing quarterly VAT returns
- The ability to work as a team and support the finance manager
- Confidential and professional
- Excellent communication skills and ability to converse with all levels
