Acteon Group have exciting new role for an experienced Finance Assistant for the Pulse Group on a full time permanent basis, based in Wokingham. This role is to provide hands on transactional support in financial operations. The Accounts Assistant is a key member of the Pulse Finance. The position reports directly to the Financial Controller and supports threes legal entities operating out of UK, US and Brazil. This role is instrumental to manage Transactional Services , Financial Control and cash management with end to end processes within Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank and payroll functions
Duties/Responsibilities
- Deliver financial transactional services which is both trusted and valued
- Deliver Credit Control functionality to ensure timely cash collection and provide insights into cash collection to support cashflow forecasting
- Support improvements and efficiencies in AP process of invoices including GRNI, reporting, controls and forecasting
- Responsible for timely and accurate processing of sales invoicing to clients
- Manage the payroll and overtime payment process across the segment including engagement with HR, FCs and third part payroll providers.
- Responsible for processing and control of bank transactions including cash allocations, facilitating bank payments, reconciliations, and reporting
- Process payments for approved travel expense claims is completed efficiently and accurately
- Take ownership of credit card payments process including processing, collating invoices and CC reconciliation
- You will also partner and develop relationships with key stakeholders and taking responsibility for resolving escalated issues and risks
- Support the finance leads to develop and implement processes, systems and policies in line with the finance improvement plans
Requirements
- Drive "cash is king" focus
- Ability to engage and manage stakeholders including Delivery/ SCM Teams and Segment Finance
- Strong team focus
- Excellent communication skills required demonstrating
- Expert user knowledge of Navision, Power BI, SharePoint and Excel
- Prior experience in similar roles within transactional or shared services will be a plus
