The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team at Lucky Saint as we continue our mission to become the defining alcohol-free beer. In this role you will be take responsibility of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations including payment runs for a group of companies. These areas are a key part of the month end process which this role will play a key part.

A day in the life in this role: from getting down in the detail and reconciling multi-currency transactions, to liaising with members from the Sales, Marketing and Operations team. You will provide data & insight as well as a creative & curious mind to help uncover areas to streamline processes and identify shortcuts, Customer and supplier communication and relationship building is an essential part of this role also.
Salary Range: £35-40K
Key Responsibilities:
- Update short term cashflow and prepare weekly payment runs.
- Performing weekly bank reconciliations across multiple banking platforms for both GBP and foreign currency payments
- Enter all purchase invoices on the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner
- Obtain authorisation from the appropriate person for all purchase invoices
- Where any discrepancies or issues arise with sales and purchase invoices, raise this with the Controller / Treasurer in order that a timely resolution can be identified
- Maintain files for Purchase invoices, bank statements, sales invoices, and assist with VAT returns.
- Ensuring month end duties are performed by the 3rd working day of the month
- Reviewing aged debtors and escalating overdue receipts and ensure all sales invoices are raised / posted accurately and in a timely manner
Who you are:
- Minimum of 1-2 years Finance experience
- Experience of using an accountancy system e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Xero
- Highly self-motivated and organised.
- Enjoy process, controls and identifying areas for improvement.
- Proactive and interested to learn new thinks to development a broader understanding the Finance team and the month end tasks.
- Demonstrate accuracy/attention to detail as well as the ability to manage and priorities completing tasks
- Experience of working in an accounts department for a fast-paced business.
- Have a positive attitude and collaborative working style
- You’re well organised with excellent time management skills
- Have a growth mindset, keen to learn and take on new challenges
