Roles & Responsibilities
● This role will give you the opportunity to learn how to manage finances for a busy, growing, agency that works with all types of content creators
● You will gain first hand experience in all different aspects of finance and accounting giving you the exact experience to build your career.
● Accounts Receivable - invoice preparation and posting, monitoring of bank accounts for receipts, preparation of management information relating to outstanding invoices, dealing with customer queries, chasing outstanding monies and improving the debt collection process.
● Arranging client payments and sending remittances weekly of around 50-100..
● Manage creditors including creating weekly payment runs.
● Daily Bank reconciliations on a weekly basis on Xero
● Processing expenses, ensuring they are coded correctly, posting to Xero
● Supporting the month end process.
We would like to meet someone who
● Has previous experience working in a similar role as a Finance Assistant
● Brings an entrepreneurial mindset, ooze determination and has an instinctive eye for what will work and what won’t
● Strong IT skills including Xero and Excel
● Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and a passion to deliver top quality work
● Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
● Excellent communication skills - in person and written
● Outstanding attention to detail
● Is comfortable working quickly across multiple projects at the same time, and gets a genuine thrill from working at pace with a team of highly talented and driven people
● Understands and appreciate the power of the audience first approach to brand building, and the enormous potential that the creator economy represents
