Ecosurety are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our accounts team (4 other people) on a full-time basis. The successful applicant must have the ability to manage multiple deadlines, be proactive over clarifying timescales and maintain a friendly, professional manner. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential.
The purpose of this role is to enable the finance team to manage a diverse and changing range of work, as the business expands and adapts to changing markets. The role will be active in timely financial processing and supporting the production of key financial reports. Ecosurety’s product range is rapidly evolving, so the successful candidate will need to be able to manage change and demands from multiple stakeholders.

Job Description
Cash / Treasury
- Daily posting of cash receipts/payments onto finance system
- Weekly cashflow support to commercial finance analyst
Accounts Receivable
- Credit control support; focus on large debtors falling overdue.
- Manage credit control of small scheme.
- Chasing aged debt/invoicing to cover annual leave/sickness.
Accounts Payable
- Submitting office credit card transactions on Concur and providing support to other card holders.
- Posting purchase invoices on Sage for specific accounts
- Weekly payment run to cover annual leave/sickness of other team members.
Person Specification
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Fast learner, able to pick up new processes/systems quickly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Great team working and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong IT skills across the Microsoft suite of packages
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and external demands.
- Accounts receivable experience is preferable.
Package
- £22 - £25k per year
- Permanent contract, 8-hour day with some flexibility
- 28 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
- 5 x salary life insurance, 7% employer pension contribution, employee health cash plan, paid sick leave, happy to talk flexible working, remote working, great office location, £250 home working set up payment
