WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Act as a proactive support to the FP&A Director in the extraction, manipulation and analysis of data to enable the production of data insights, financial reporting and forecasting models to enable decision making by key stakeholders.
The role will be highly analytical and enable a real understanding of the drivers of performance.
There would be a couple of key projects that the role would support on across the year including Strat Plan financial modelling and Customer profitability analysis.
The role would suit someone either at the start of their finance career or looking to get some exposure to a new area of finance. There is the potential for them to get experience in other areas of the finance department longer term.
Develop financial models & analysis to help understand the combined Consumer Beauty & Luxury business and communicate findings to key stakeholders
Utilisation of the system ‘HFM’ to extract and analyse data.
Assist with monthly reporting & analysis
Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for a wider audience
Assist with budgeting and forecasting requirements
Support local implementation of regional and corporate simplification / standardization initiatives
Perform Ad-Hoc reporting and analyses based on business needs
Assist the Director of FP&A with other activities as required
Provide support to sales finance team as required
Provide support for brand finance team as required
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Studying for a Degree in Finance & Accounting or Business
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Good analytical skills
Good understanding of P&L and commercial business
Advanced Excel skills
Capability to upskill in new Systems (Knime, Power BI, SAP Hana, Hyperion)
Critical Skills
High standard of accuracy and precision; highly organized; good operational discipline.
Ability to orchestrate tasks within Co-Pilot Finance team as well as with multifunctional business resources
Excellent analytical skills and able to sort through complex and massive data, incl. their interpretation
Ability to work effectively within key systems
High level of mental agility – being able to ‘connect the dots’
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of hierarchy with multifunctional partners and with external stakeholders (English skills mandatory)
