Job description
To work within the finance team, across the Management Accounts, Financial Accounts and AP/AR teams to provide timely and accurate data, journals and reconciliations in order to aid in the smooth and accurate running.
Finance Assistant Requirements:
You will assist with financial accounts and cash management, weekly updates of the cashflow documents for actual performance and forecast revenues. Work closely with the Financial Accountant to set up annual cashflow documents, monthly reconciliation of the inter-company trading accounts, support in the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements, and support in the year end audit process.
The role will support management accounts with month end accounting, analysis for overheads, and analysis for insurance. Creating and posting monthly haulage/weighbridge related accruals, managing the stock process with the Management Accountant. Carry out revenue accruals and analysis, credit card accruals and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
You will also assist with other finance, accounts payable or /accounts receivable support as required, e.g. generation of invoices and chasing cash collection, daily reports and other ad hoc tasks.

Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00pm. Hybrid working available
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience
