You will be working with the Business Support Team (BST) to ensure collective on time delivery of the BST's deliverables (to include reporting, reconciliations, and other activities), preparation of month end statutory actuals and communication of any issues liaising with Defence HQ, Finance Service Centre or external auditors where required.

What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensure clear communication with the Financial Business Partners, associated Business Teams and management regarding financial information ensuring accuracy and to agreed timescales.
- Decision support and scenario analysis as required to support the Business.
- A keen eye for detail and controls, lead the reporting, development and further enhance the existing controls within Submarines Finance as we transition towards UK SOCs.
- Maximizing the use of standardized models, ensuring the accuracy, meeting of deadlines, and ensuring that all work is compliant.
- Driving continuous improvement into our current processes and methods by actively working with the business and associated finance team, supporting the Improvement Journey to Process Excellence and pro-actively leading in improvement activities.
- Leading the preparation of forecasts, including setting timetables, communication of any issues, preparation of reporting packs and leading the consolidation and input into VBM

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the Business conducts and the protection of certain assets a person has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non ITAR country.
