We have an exciting opportunity to join the finance business partnering team within College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
We are looking for a Financial Analyst with an understanding of preparing financial analysis to support finance business partners and senior leaders across an organisation and preparing financial information is accurate and prepared on a timely basis.
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be supporting a key area of our business by:
- Assisting preparation of management accounts, financial forecasts and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Delivering excellent financial management service to departments. Ensuring financial data is accurate, up-to-date and processed according to University’s financial policies and procedures.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Educated to at least: Higher standard, SVQ3 or equivalent or Standard Grades with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
- Customer-focussed approach and keen to provide excellent service.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate ability to prioritise workload and work to tight schedules. Essential attributes must include accuracy and attention to detail.
