Trace Recruit is delighted to be supporting an FMCG company, who is on the hunt for a Finance Analyst.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finalist or newly qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), to join a dynamic & creative business. This organisation has high growth plans and this role will be an intrinsic part of this.
Reporting to the Head of FP & A, you will perform financial analysis on budgets, operating results, and business plans to. You will be responsible for preparing forecasts and general economic trends, working with high level managers in the region.
About your role:
- Provide timely and accurate monthly and quarterly management information and analysis for all regions under your control.
- Assist in the group budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide value adding financial insight to Senior Management through ad-hoc request, strategic projects
- Continually look to improve group reporting and use of KPI’s.
- Revenue recognition and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly group flash report.
- Regular liaison with various senior management and budget holders to discuss finances/KPIs/performance, etc.
- Assisting the wider team with other finance tasks such as the preparation and posting of month end journals, inter-company accounting, review of cost allocations.
- Continual improvement of reporting, analysis provided, month end procedures, etc.
- Soon to qualify/ newly qualified CIMA
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of an organisation
- Experience within a similar role
- Excellent excel skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Oracle knowledge will be an advantage
