Finance Analyst Sheffield, England
Job description
Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with a leading distribution company based in Sheffield that are a specialist in retail logistics, on recruiting a Finance Analyst to support the Commercial Manager with pricing new commercial deals and projects.
This role will play a pivotal part in being the key financial lead on projects and provide financial reports and budgets as well as project forecasting, by working with senior managers and accounts team.
The client is looking for an individual that is ambitious and motivated to add value to the business by identifying areas to drive process improvements and create relationships with clients and customers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Works in partnership with the Commercial Manager to develop costings that create value
- Calculates new business proposals and commercial arrangements
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hocreports, and tools
