Finance Analyst
Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

As a Finance Operations Analyst you will be responsible for the primary finance support on forward facing projects leading site development and productivity initiatives through evaluating and contributing towards site projects. You will also support the Operational Supply Accountant on the Hull site with responsibility for the factory performance, including financial plan and forecasts, the month end process, variance analysis and financial reviews.
In this role you'll:
- Coordinate financial analysis and reporting on Site Projects providing accurate and timely information to help support and guide Senior Management and Leadership teams.
- Construct project calculations to allow informed decision making – day to day responsibility for the development of financial aspects of business cases liaising with all relevant department management.
- Support on productivity initiatives helping to drive implementation and developing financial calculations for on-going and future initiatives.
- Have direct labour performance administration – weekly and monthly to analyse site and segment performance.
- Coordinate and deliver month end timetable in line with corporate timetable, culminating in: Support of Anaplan productivity monthly tracking and ensuring all new initiatives are tracked with accurate information, support month end direct and indirect labour reconciliations & assist on communication of the monthly commentary on project’ status, productivity progress and all relevant glidepaths.
- Assist with producing elements of financial preparation of the annual plan in co-ordination with the Site Operations Manager and Leadership team.
- Actively identify and lead cost savings initiatives through the business to deliver results.

.....you are part-qualified/ qualified with background experience working within a Finance/Accounting environment. Have an understanding of business operations and experience working on projects. Excellent systems knowledge with analysis of financial performance & demonstration of target setting to Supply Chain management. You are self motivated, have excellent communication skills whilst working cross functionally with the ability to influence and challenge the activities of the site.
