Finance Analyst – Star Pubs & Bars
Function: Finance

Location: Edinburgh based (the Gyle) – a mix of office & home working

Salary: £33,000 - £40,500 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.

Contract: Permanent

The Role


Reporting into the Star Pubs &Bars Finance Controller, this role will get involved in a mix of month end and process driven work such as reconciliations and CAPEX system processes. On top of this, you’ll also be able to get involved in process improvement, issues deep dives and project works throughout the month – the real fun stuff! Both Property and JAT are complex and super interesting areas, and this role will be actively involved in ensuring best in class business partnering through brilliant relationship building.


So what will you be doing? Here’s some of the key accountabilities.


  • Assist in Business Partnering the RtR and Property Support teams.
  • Providing support to the Finance Controllers for Property and our Just Add Talent estate.
  • Helping to manage the financial objectives for the Star Pubs & Bars function.

The Candidate


We’re looking for someone who has a positive and pro-active attitude when it comes to influencing stakeholders and taking on challenges.


You don’t have to have an accountancy qualification for this position, but we do need someone “qualified by experience”, this means someone who can confidently take on finance system processes, controls and reconciliations. Study support will be possible for an individual looking to undertake or continue professional qualification exams.
