A fantastic opportunity has come up within Grosvenor to work within the existing team as a Finance Analyst.
You'll be responsible for analysing financial statements and predicting the future performance of the company. This will include budgeting and forecasting future revenues and expenditures, partnering with marketing as well as modelling capital expenditure.
This role includes:
- Undertaking a partnering role, building influential working relationships with key contacts across the wider business to make comprehensive recommendations and understand the business needs, challenge activity and improve overall business performance through detailed analysis with a particular focus on marketing
- Pro-actively spotting trends using the wide variety of data available across the division, and reporting “deep-dive” analysis to drive business performance
- Supporting with P&L budget and forecasts on an annual and quarterly basis, working with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure complete stakeholder ‘buy-in’ to produce high-quality and deliverable budgets / re-forecasts by identifying and modelling key business drivers, trends and KPIs. Support and challenge where required
- Ownership of capex investment models and working with Property and Transformation teams to develop appropriate financial models. Develop and report on Post Investment Appraisal, understand and share key learning for future investments
- Supporting the Senior Business Partner to drive report automation and future trend forecasting for revenue
- Supporting standardisation of cost allocation, timely balance sheet reconciliations and month-end analysis
- Developing strong relationships with commercial and operations teams, providing strategic counsel and support to the Directors of the Venues team
- Driving continuous improvements to all Finance processes with the aim of enhancing the quality or reducing the delivery time to internal or external stakeholders
We are looking for:
- Qualified (or part-qualified) accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong track record of delivering to timescales
- Previous and demonstrable experience in FP&A, business partnering, financial analysis and commercial accounting.
- A desire for continuous improvement around data quality and insightful analysis to ensure real value-add to the business.
- The ability to confidently engage and influence stakeholders across the organisation, including senior stakeholders.
- The ability to communicate financial information effectively, adding value to the budget holder’s strategy.
- Enthusiastic about numbers, analysis and continuous improvement to drive performance in a fast-paced and changing business.
