Location: Our team can work flexibly from home or the office, balancing the working day with personal commitments, whether that’s personal wellbeing, childcare or interests. Our team is spread between our offices in London, Gloucester, Exeter and Plymouth therefore this role involves some travel across these offices when required.

Salary: Starting from £36,000 + excellent benefits
The Enterprise IT Finance Analyst will be accountable to the Enterprise IT Finance Lead for all Enterprise IT operating budget management, commercial and finance reporting. You will advise the Finance Lead to ensure all EIT operational spend, is in line with MTP budget and critically, has responsibility to manage and account for all variances providing an appropriate level of challenge and fit for purpose financial data back to the respective business units and our own teams.
The opportunity…
As the Finance Analyst, you will manage the day to day aspects of all Shared Services Agreements (SSA) to ensure complete recovery of costs into EIT. There will be a requirement for the preparation of reports, and financial summary information for the regular EIT to Business finance meetings.
The value of existing SSA’s is expected to rise. Where new agreements are required, the Finance lead will recommend the contents with the Finance Analyst responsible for the pricing and detailed summary of the services within. You will also be a first point of contact for any questions, queries and requests for information via Business finance teams.
As part of the Finance team, you will prioritise and plan your workload in line with business needs and criticality, priorities will be agreed between yourself and the Finance lead. The production of quality financial reporting, employing the necessary rigour, innovation and setting of standards to support the delivery of the Medium Term Plan (MTP) is critical to the success of the Commercial Team and EIT. You will be expected to contribute to the achieving any budgetary expectations in terms of demonstrating best value and also savings where needed.
What we’re looking for…
Significant gravitas, influencing, negotiating and communication skills;- Knowledge of SAP and Excel
- A broad understanding of IT technology (particularly infrastructure) with interest in maintaining that awareness;
- Ability to articulate commercially focused outcome based results;
- Understanding of common financial practices
- Understanding of commercial and contractual agreements between EDF Energy and its IT service partners or previous experience in an equivalent environment;
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff and colleagues, external third parties and other key stakeholders based on partnerships;
- Demonstrable record of contributing effectively to a business.
