Overall Purpose of the Role

The Finance Analyst is an integral part of the CPGP Finance team providing specialist advice and guidance that help to influence business decisions. The role is responsible for delivering an effective, timely and accurate AOP, Forecast, FYP and close process across a group of markets with a focus on Marketing, Product Development and Creative Spend, as well as providing necessary analysis and reporting to help deliver Franchise strategies.
FP&A
Understand the overall EMEA FP&A process and calendar. Responsible for planning and tracking marketing spend by market, spend type, franchise and retailer.
Help to deliver the Quarter Close process, including closely liaising with Marketing teams to ensure timely receipting of invoices. Fully reconcile actuals to forecasted spends.
Support Finance Manager in delivering all key quarterly, annual, and long term forecast deliverables.
Prepare timely and relevant reporting on the performance of the business and Franchises on a monthly and quarterly basis and ad hoc as key updates are received.
Commercial Support
Prepare analysis on the effectiveness of spend for key marketing campaigns.
Support Finance Manager on analysis and insights of franchises performance by audience, product category, market, retailer
Support the Finance Manager with the financial appraisal of costs and deliverables for the Creative and Product Development function in EMEA.
Ad hoc support as required.
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
Degree level essential and Accounting qualified (may be part qualified)
Experience ideally in both FP&A and Financial Reporting
Experience of working within the retail/licensing sector, preferably for a US Corporation
Experience of supporting commercial management to a high standard and working with the Regional Finance and Commercial head office
