Job Introduction

This Finance HR Advisor role sits in the HR Operational Support Team. Working to the Senior HR Business Partner you will provide support for the outsourced HR services in relation to commercial and budgetary activity with a focus on generating purchase orders and validating billing data, spend reporting, analysis and stakeholder liaison to achieve accurate budget management and business assurance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Raise purchase orders using SAP Finance system, validate billing data & approve payments;
  • Facilitate internal cross-charging to devolved budgets;
  • Maintain accurate & up to date budget reporting;
  • Access Finance and People systems, entering data and ensuring data quality;
  • Problem solve queries and issues, resolving and/or escalating queries to the relevant party;
  • Analyse data/processes with self-assurance based on data and understanding of policy and process offering recommendations to support continuous improvements;
  • Accurately maintain data ensuring confidentiality;
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of team and wider HR priorities and support workload where necessary contributing to a culture of service excellence.
Are you the right candidate?

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills whilst carrying out their work accurately with high attention to detail. Prior knowledge and working experience of finance systems and some experience of HR systems would be advantageous.

This role will require someone with great communication (verbal, written, listening) skills, who is able to work to a deadline, manage conflicting priorities and confident to ask for support when required. You should also have a strong customer focus and customer satisfaction ethic and feel empowered to go above and beyond to support our colleagues.

Able to innovate when dealing with problems you face in unique situations; you should feel confident to manage your workload and comfortable working alone, or in collaboration with fellow team members on joint projects or organisational needs.
