Responsibilities:
- Responsible for finance administrative duties; including raising weekly purchase orders, review of weekly invoices versus purchase orders, adhoc running of weekly/monthly reports from SAP, management of VIM queue to resolve invoice queries, support with capital projects reporting
- Reports to the Transport Finance Analyst and requires stakeholder relationships with the Management Accountants, Accounts Payable team, 3PL hauliers, Transport Planning team, Project teams
- Daily support to the Logistics finance team
- Raising of weekly 3PL haulier Purchase orders and reconciliation versus invoice
- Support with raising POs for warehouse team(s) as required
- Management of VIM to ensure timely and effective resolution of any unpaid/disputed invoices
- Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely issue resolution and on-time payment to suppliers
- Work closely with Logistics finance team to calculate and post standard month end accruals and journals.
- Provide financial administration support related to Capital Projects, financial data gathering, input, analysing , reporting. Order placement and payment reconciliation
- Cover for other team members as required.
- Some basic prior accounting experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Build good rapport with a wide-ranging group of stakeholders
- Clear communication skills
- An eye for detail and spotting errors
- Able to work methodically through work requirements
