Job Description: – Finance Administrator
We are delighted to be recruiting for this role on behalf of our client who is based in the Jarrow area.
Ideally Level 4 AAT but experienced Level 3 AAT applicants may also apply.
Job Duties:
1. Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
2. Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
3. Preparing VAT returns
4. Verifying the accuracy of business accounts, including reconciling debtors and creditors ledgers
5. Preparing vendor invoices for batch payment
6. Raising sales invoices on despatch of goods, logging and filing job sheets, and emailing invoices to customers
7. Assisting with stock control
8. Produce monthly financial reports
Assist Directors with their duties as appropriate
10. Maintain confidentiality of information and to comply with requirements related to GDPR.
11. To undertake any necessary training and development required including appropriate health and safety courses.

- Good numerical and verbal reasoning

Skills
- Proficient skills in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of Sage 50cloud Accounts software or similar
- AAT or similar Bookkeeping Qualification
- Stock control experience desirable

Ability to Handle Confidential Information
Strong Record Keeping Skills
Ability to Multitask
Package
- £26,000 – £30,000 based on a 37 hour working week
- Working hours 8-4 Monday to Thursday, 8-3:30 on Friday with half hour lunch breaks.
