Financial Administrator – Maternity cover
We are looking for a Financial Administrator to join our team on a flexible working arrangement. Working closely with the Chair, the Board Director responsible for finance and the Operations Manager.

Job role:
- Be responsible for all day-to-day financial transactions, recording and procedures, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, statutory financial functions and returns in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain management accounts and forecasts monthly and as required.
Essential
- Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator/Assistant or similar role
- Minimum AAT qualified
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of the financial regulations applicable to the company
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Sharp time management skills
Further Information:
Please be aware that this is a part-time role working 1.5 days (11.25 hours per week until the end of March 2024. The role will be reviewed in early 2024 with the possibility of an extension or the role being made permanent. Salary is £23-25k dependant on experience pro rata. For information we use Xero financial software.
This role is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, through a hybrid arrangement in the office and from home.
